Mosaic table D120 white diamond

A diamond border is typical of a Moroccan mosaic table . In addition to the decorative function, it also has a symbolic function: as stylized eyes (witch eyes), square diamonds are supposed to protect people from any kind of harm. The mosaic setters place a wide variety of patterns and ornaments into this frame. However, one thing is always the same: the glazed mosaic pieces are previously carved from the handcrafted Zellige tiles with a sharp-edged hammer. Each table top is purely handcrafted and therefore absolutely unique.

Depending on the light , white Zellije tiles look like valuable mother-of-pearl. Especially when, like this mosaic table , they are surrounded by unglazed, light beige cotto tiles. White garden furniture goes particularly well with the romantic furnishing style with delicate wrought iron tendrils, gazebos and rose trellises.
